Left coast MC’s were now trying to change their sound to cater to all the followers. We lost our way. This shit is real. Like he’s never been gone before. Forget about ”Are we there yet?” or the other kiddie movies. These are a whole different side to him. Music is Cubes root, and the root goes back to the westside, to California, the ghetto. Therefore, after these years in the movies, Cube returns like he’s never been away and shows the suffering westside music scene, what the west really has to sound like. I think he is right.
